- Families (5 people) — $5.99 per month billed annually
Paying for 1Password step by step
Use the card like any foreign bank card:
- You create the account on the 1Password website and enter the card when starting the trial.
- The listed prices are for yearly billing, charged 12 months at once; monthly billing exists and costs more.
- Change the card in the web account under Billing → Payment method.
- On Families and Teams the account owner pays; other members are invited at no extra charge within the plan limit.
What can go wrong
If the 1Password payment fails, it is usually one of these:
- Subscribing through the App Store or Google Play bills you via the store, not your card on the site — the website is simpler.
- After a failed renewal the account becomes read-only: passwords stay visible but new ones aren't saved.
- The first year may be discounted; from year two the regular price applies.
